Robin graduated from Cardiff University in 2004 and worked for 10 years in general practice in Blandford Forum before joining forces with former colleague Viola to take over the running of Northfield Dental Practice from the retiring David Smit.

After visiting the south coast Viola fell in love with the area and moved to Bournemouth in 2005 to become a permanent resident. Her career includes previous experience running her own practice along with over 20 years of clinical dentistry.
